All those Scuppernongs

If you remember a few weeks ago this post where Ella and Murray picked buckets and buckets of scuppernongs from the farm
I almost waited too long...
and wasted all of that hard worked for fruit.

Just in the nick of time, Ella pulled out all the scuppernongs
and made jelly.
Scuppernong jelly requires a little more effort
than our previous jelly making endeavors.

 But there is nothing like bringing home the fruit from the farm
 and helping it turn into something delicious!
(this is how we seal the lids on our jelly jars)

***Just in case you are wondering, scuppernongs are type of muscadines.  Muscadines are a species of grapes native to the south.
